Big Names in the WW fandom

I was just browsing through blogs and found that people had created quizzes telling you which Smallville Big Name Writer etc, you were. And I thought, gee that would be cool for West Wing.

Then I realised, I've never had a real discussion about who the big names are in the West Wing universe. I have some opinions, and my own favourite writers, but have never run across a discussion about it.

So, any West Wingers reading my live journal (Okay, mandysbitch )- let me know, join in the conversation. Who are our big names?

Gwyneth won because Roberto Benini won for the best actor and Cate Blanchett was the only other front runner - and you couldn't have two foreigners taking off the best awards . . . *g*
