Big Names in the WW fandom

melwilI was just browsing through blogs and found that people had created quizzes telling you which Smallville Big Name Writer etc, you were. And I thought, gee that would be cool for West Wing.
Then I realised, I've never had a real discussion about who the big names are in the West Wing universe. I have some opinions, and my own favourite writers, but have never run across a discussion about it.

Because I'd put Pix up with the best in any fandom without hesitation.
The names that come to my mind are Luna, August, Pix, Sabine, Mojo & Jori, Marguerite and Christine. But I'm heavy on the J/D side, or I was when there was still lots of good J/D fic being written...
