melwilAh ha - I remember what I wanted to say.
I spent a little time last night, hunting down and trying to read a certain BNF in the Harry Potter fandom (you could say that she's one of the biggest).
Unfortunately, I found the writing to be so bad that I couldn't get past the first page on two different stories.

lizbee. I honestly think that if I'd started with this BNF, I wouldn't have been able to get past these stories.
I just don't get the hype.

on 2003-01-08 05:55 pm (UTC)I will strongly recommend "Draco Veritas", the third in the trilogy. Unfortunately, you kind of need to read the first two, but I'm sure a kind, fic-writing friend would be happy to explain what you missed, complete with interpretive dances and re-enactments of significant scenes...
