Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban does not open in Australia until June 10th. This is a significant time after the rest of the world get it. So you're not going to spoil me. Not once. Not for any 'insignificant' detail. And if you do, I'm going to round up other Australian fans and come and . . . well do something!

I bought [livejournal.com profile] lizbee's birthday present last night. Shiny . . .

I also bought the second half of Buffy Season Six. I'm not allowed to watch until my assignment is finished.

But . . . All my SOSE assessment is done! Complete! I'm a real person again.

To celebrate everyone should tell me which university or school subject (or LK classes [livejournal.com profile] sangerin *g*) they really detested/detest

Commercial Practice and Conveyancing 2. I loathe and detest Commercial Practice beyond anything else we've done this year. And Conveyancing 2 was simply ghastly... a half-deaf instructor trying to teach 28 people in a long, narrow room: she's completely inconsistant - told us to draft a contract of sale and vendor's statement, gave us half an hour to do that, and then chewed us out for not also writing a three page letter, drafting a caveat and all the transfer documents. This was the class I had on my birthday. Apparently the rest of the class could actually see the steam coming out of my ears for most of the day... (they don't realise that they'd started my bad mood with their idiotic, homophobic comments)

Congratulations!!

I took this math course sophomore year called Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry. It was basically a filler year because we were ahead of most high school honors classes and they didn't want to give us Calculus until senior year. Now, I took Stat this year and didn't mind it at all, but for some reason this class just kicked the shit out of me. It was MISERABLE and my depressed Russian teacher did not help at all.

Anyway. It screwed up my GPA and I'm still recovering from the trauma. And you should basically just never give me an opening to whinge about it. As you can see.

No contest really... Transforming Cultures and Creative Industries were the wankiest, crappiest most pretentious money wasting subjects I have had to take. The assignments required students to target them towards their own discipline, but the way they were written clashed horribly with journalism. Creativity and journalism... that's just really crappy journalism. Anyway - biggest wankiest crappy subjects.

Anything at commercial college. So bored...

Uni-wise, I spent most of the Honours subject Studies in the Essay: Post-structuralism in tears. Not the fault of the lecturer/tutor or subject matter so much as wanky male students who were convinced they understood Derrida inside out and no one else did, and I was a naive, dumb little idiot for not understanding and preferring feminist epistemology and mystorical writing anyway. I used to curl up with Derrida and howl, because I knew it would always, always look like densely written crap to me, and that I was irredeemably stupid. The lecturer kept me in by promising me that they were bluffing, and I guess she was right, as I topped the class... but I think that was when my academic confidence crumbled and was the first step to my nervous breakdown, so definitely most detested class.
