I washed my hair last night. It smells good now . . .

I'm looking for a roast recipe, before I'm forced to ask my mother for hers. I want to cook a roast for Easter Sunday, to start a new tradition.

We have never had a recipe ... you just bung it on a meat tray, pour oil over, put vegies around (mmm, oil-crisped carrot, best. food. ever) and leave it for a few hours.

I hate cooking meat. *grin*

I would sniff your hair, but that could get logistically awkward. *g*

Roast is soooooo easy to make. I toss the thing in our dutch oven, set the temperature to 225F, add a little broth and some carrots and potatoes and whatever else is handy and bake the sucker for about four hours. You know it's done when the cats are sitting by the oven trying to look pathetic and half-starved because the whole house smells glorious. :D

Excellent! I'm sure in my house it would be the boyfriend sitting looking pathetic next to the oven, as I don't have any cats *g*

These will give you somewhere to start. The first one looks better to me, with all the lovely vegetables. Good luck with the roast.
