Work today. I did the money work again and it all went well - which is a good thing. It was a nice constant day, which meant I didn't have time to get bored. Also, the place is looking great - we've got a baker who actually knows how to clean up after himself, which means the food is also looking good.
I lifted and then grated half of a 20 kilo block of cheese today. Three buckets later, with nice breaks for serving customers. It was all going great until the smelliest woman who ever walked, walked through our door.
This woman apparently has some sort of fungal disease all over her face, and to put it quite frankly, she reeks. She smells so bad that throwing up isn't an impossibility if it wasn't a surgical impossibility. Customers leave in droves when she walks in. And she takes forever to decide what she wants, paying for every single item individually.
Ugh.
Three more days of work until I get a day off.

I'm busy writing Billy Elliott fic at the moment, and I'm also contemplating posting my Governor General fic, even though it's a little out of date.

Yay Reggie!

Okay, you must post - or at the very least, email it to me. You have me intrigued now.
(You know, one of the most disturbing things for me at the moment is that I cannot find a genre within which to fictionalise some of my concerns and frustrations. West Wing doesn't work. Trek doesn't even come close. I cannot think of a single fanfic genre, and to do this sort of "writing out" I need it to be fanfic, rather than having the need to create the characters as well. It's all highly frustrating.
