I'm watching Save the Last Dance again. I love this movie, it's the one that got me dancing again. I'm looking into taking some dance lessons again once I get a new pair of pointe shoes. I'd love to have the structure of formal lessons again and it would keep me from feeling stale.

Just need to find a dance wear shop. tangochocky do you know any dance wear stores that sell ballet shoes? Especially Bloch pointes?

Save the Last Dance is such a good movie. My second ever DVD purchase! Ballet, Julia Stiles, Chicago...lots of good things.

hehehe I have all 3 of those movies on DVD... plus Dirty Dancing, Burn the Floor... and I also have Dance With Me and Bootmen on video... all I need is Strictly Ballroom and Shall We Dance? and I pretty much got them all... oh god... I love dancing movies!

Yay. I've finished the prologue and the first chapter and it's only a four chapter story (just a short one to start with) so I'll try and get the second chapter done before I send it to you.

Ummm... you might try either Blockout at Indooroopilly, or Sue's Shop in Carindale. I don't get my shoes from mainstream stores, my friend ships them in from overseas for me! Hope you find some!!

This may be of no help to you but I thought I would share anyway. There is a shop on the Gold Coast (at Southport) called House of Dance. They sell Bloch pointes.
