I'm so excited about tomorrow. I keep jumping up and down at dancing chanting Harry! Harry! Harry! and then collapsing in giggles when my students all do the same thing. I'm nervous though, but looking very forward to Sunday afternoon where there's nothing to do except read my shiny new book. And read it again. And again . . .

Hmm. Hard. Probably Emily or Anne. Common and nice.
2. Where were you on 9/11?
Watching 18th and Potomac. The news came through, Mrs. Landingham died, and my parents and sister and myself spent most of the night watching. My other sister didn't hear about it until she got home from a school camping trip two days later.
3. What is your ideal vacation?
Greece, Italy and Turkey. Seeing as many ancient things as possible, working at a dig, drinking coffee and eating pasta in Italy, then going to Gallipoli.
4. How many first cousins do you have?
Eight. Tammy, Andrew, Cassie, Ngaire, Jefferson, Jamie, Daniel and Jessica.
5. How do you take your pizza?
Ham and pineapple with lots and lots of cheese.
6. If you could be fluent in any foreign language (that you are not already) what would it be?
Modern Greek

8. If you could experience another era of history, which would it be?
I'd like to say the high point of Athenian democracy, but I'd want to be a citizen, rather than a woman. Otherwise, the Edwardian era with the suffragettes.

Movies that make me think. Art house usually, or the quirkier hollywood movies. Think The Hours, Wonder Boys, Virgin Suicides.
10. If you could have any one superpower, what would it be?
I'd like to be able to heal myself when I'm injured.

12. If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be?
A cat. They seem to be nice lazy creatures.

Oh, God, yes. Vivid memories of 18th and Potomac, and then, two weeks later when we finally got Two Cathedrals (on a Sunday night for no real reason), trying to remind myself that it hadn't happened to them.
This being the reason for my "Eighteen Minutes" fic.
