Dancing in the Moonlight . . .

melwilHmm. Realised that my last post looked a little down. I actually had quite a good day today, amusing even. I'm just tired.
I've finished up the first draft of my HP redux and I'd love to send it off now, except that it needs editing - and I hate editing. My eyes aren't exactly cooperating tonight either - so I'll leave it until tomorrow.
I'm a little upset that I won't be able to join the wibblers for the Borders OotP thing - ACA will be there apparently, which is kind of exciting despite my deep moral objection to Ray Martin - but I've made a commitment not to miss any more dancing, so I've got to go to that. And Matt's got his big family do on that evening which I think I'm going to.
Hopefully I'll have time when I get to Brisbane from Peachester to drop by Borders and grab my copy. Maybe that will be my chance to get my face on TV. Or we could set up a cardboard cut out of me, sit it next to a cardboard cut out of Alan Rickman and Jason Issacs . . .
Hmmm . . . *looks around innocently*
As you might have guessed, I'm handling the aloneness better tonight. Probably because of my busy, terribly filled day and the fact that I had lots to get done tonight. And I've got goosd music on. And a story written! (Over 3500 words - it's been so long since I've written like that)
And now I realise that I'm just clogging up friend's lists . . .
I have a story. It's called "Tear Stains and Tooth Marks".
It's about killing Harry and making Snape look human.
But really, deep down, it's all about breaking Hermione.
It might also appeal to readers who don't mind me taking happy R/H and H/G and blowing it all apart. Also readers who want to dip their toes in a new universe.
It has: [smut, Hermione, flashbacks (kinda), het, Snape, angst, grammatical errors, Draco, true love].
It doesn't have: [OCs, Time-Turners, spiders, funny bits, Peeves, slash, cats, present tense, the Sorting Hat, Lupin, the Giant Squid,].
It is not WiP.
If you read it, I'll probably encourage you to read other Tearstains stories
If you don't read it, I'll stare at you, smiling encouragingly.
If you read it and review it, I'll squeal. And dance.
And by the way, it's written under the influence of thumping angsty music, dark poetry and badly lit television series.
