Can't sleep. Kate'll eat me.

Well, actually she won't. It's more like: can't sleep, stomach's in horrible knots and since Kate planted the idea of ulcers rather than reflux, I'm all stressed. It's kind of the same.

I couldn't manage to get any food down tonight (last night) except for a few dry crackers. I did the washing up instead. I blame the coffee at Starbucks. Maybe the hazelnut shot in it.

So, I'm up - surfing the Big Brother site and refinding the Bronze which is now called Bronze Beta. It's like going home, like West Wing and Harry Potter fandoms nevre existed. I'm quite enjoying being back in a fandom where you didn't have to write to be active.

Oh Lina!
Hope you feel better soon!
And don't listen to Kate, you're just stressed about not having a job, that's why your reflux is going psycho!

Why don't you sit on the net and download clubbing songs, wishing you were out in the valley dancing up a storm??? Err... that's just what I'm doing. But I'm a bit wierd in the head.

Bronzing is my version of downloading songs. I have no computer space for song downloading.

Actually, you don't have to write in HP fandom to be known. The HP4GU group is full of people who wouldn't touch fic with a ten-foot-pole, but who could be regarded as BNFs for the sheer quantity and sophistication of their analysis. Not to mention the fan artists, news editors, etc.

I had the same problem in college. My doctor, with a firm tone and tired eye, told me to give up all coffee for three months, after which I was upgraded to a cup a day, medium brew. No Starbucks for me. I hated it, and I was absolutely miserable, but we fixed the problem with no surgery or medication. Of course, if I hadn't been a rabid coffee drinker this minght never have happened.

Talk to your doctor. I hope it gets better.

Hmm . . .
