Went for another walk today - that makes three days in a row. I've discovered that the first two days are easy, then the third day gets difficult. All done, though - so the fourth day should be a sinch.
Came home, cleaned a little etc, etc. Then went down to Centre-hell-hole to look at their no-job machines, and checked the Courier Mail for its definate lack of job. Hmm.
I decided to browse around a few shops, because I don't have much else to do today. Instead I ended up buying seven books for under $20. A couple are books I've read before, the others books that I've wanted to read . . .
-Dicey's Song by Cynthia Voigt
-Goodnight Mr Tom by Michelle Magorian
-White Crosses by Larry Watson
-Cracking America by Barbara Toner
-A Theory of Relativity by Jacquelyn Mitchard
-The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen
-Orange Laughter by Leone Ross
All in all, I'm really rather happy about the books. Even if I don't read them right away, I'll get to them sooner or later. And they'll make my book shelves look lovely and stuffed *g*
Now I'm waiting for Coles Myer to tell me if I managed to pass their discriminatory test. Wonder if there's any laws protecting left handed people against the mighty masses?
