Books and other important things
Apr. 6th, 2003 06:41 pmI'm not a big mystery book fan, so enjoying these has been a bit of a revelation. It reminds me of when I was young and there was nothing better than a good Famous Five of Secret Seven book in my hands.
Liz and I were talking about the type of books we read. I tend towards Drama - usually of the literary or Australian variety. After that, my taste tends towards comedy and children's books, or over into non fiction. (Politics, Americana or Australiana, history, television history, writing, dancing and biography)
I've got quite a book collection - one I keep ading to every week (much to the disgust of my bookshelves and my wallet) Actually I have two sets of bookshelves; half of my books with me here and the other half at my parent's place.
Eventually I'd like to have an entire library of books. Just books and a couple of comfortable chairs.

You're my kind of people. :)
Our house is just stacked with books. Loads of nonfiction, loads of literature (leftover from my degree), loads of sci fi, fantasy, mystery, and I still have a lot of my children's lit books at my parents' house.
And our front room has two large bookshelves, a piano and two large comfortabe reading chairs. It was our dream too. :)
