On a more sombre note

melwilEric Abraham died this morning.
Mr. Abraham was a World War One veteran from Queensland. He signed up for war at the age of fifteen, but wasn't able to go until his mother signed a note for him two years later.
I was lucky enough to see Mr. Abraham in two ANZAC Day parades, and the cheers for him were always huge. He was a gentleman, who developed a extreme distaste for war as the years went by. In some ways, I'm glad he didn't have to witness the events of today.
