Spooks Rewatching: 2.7

I forgot how scary the robbery ends - with the gun pointing at the door and Harry making way too much noise getting up those stairs. I also forgot that this episode was about a weapon that would kill machines not people.
I should watch these episodes more.
"If that isn't illegal, it's very, very naughty." Hee!
Oh, Ruth's face when Zoe and Sam are fighting over the French guy.
Ruth had such a firm belief in right and wrong back then, didn't she. I wonder what happened to change that. Was it part of her breaking? Do they all begin to see the world in shades of grey the longer they stick around?
Sam is such a flirt sometimes.
Tom has no worries about using info from Christine, does he. Though I suppose she thought he already knew.
Oh Colin. "One very smart cookie" You just know that's what him mother used to say about him.
I wonder if Harry's ever been called 'bro' before?
Do you think Zoe's reactions are influences by her work in the school and her experiences with Noah Gleeson?
Oh Tom and Christine. They were so meant to be together :(
Colin keeps games on the super computer!
I'm still not sure about this episode. I suppose there's nothing to make it stand out in a season of stand out episodes

on 2007-09-15 12:02 pm (UTC)It really is a season of standouts, isn't it. Even 2.4 stands out for me. And there's so much wonderful Harry stuff (although, of course, he moved between this and s4), and I love the flirting, and the Harry... (sorry, listening to Sam chew out the customs guy about Ribena. It's distracting.) I think what I'm trying to say is that we may yet decide that season 2 Spooks, like season 2 of The West Wing were the pinnacles of each. Unlike tWW, the jury is still out. And yet, the originals are the best, no?

on 2007-09-15 12:34 pm (UTC)Season 2 of Buffy was completely gut wrenching for me. It inches out season 3 for me due to Becoming 1 and 2 and Passion.
