# Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like. (Or, you know, say "ask me questions"...)

# I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. It may take me some time to think them up.

# Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.

# Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.

# When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.

#1 Given your difficulties with church since Christine left, do you know yet where you are going to have your wedding?

Matt and I are going with a civil service, because of a) my problems with finding a regular church, b) Matt's lack of religious beliefs, and c) our tight budget *g* We'll probably be looking for an outdoor wedding, somewhere in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. There will be religious elements to the ceremony, though. It's tricky.

#2 What is your ratio of plotbunnies to fics actually written?

It used to be about 2 plot bunnies for every fic. (I used to have time). Now it's probably 4 plot bunnies to every fic. There are less plot bunnies and less stories, unfortunately.

#3 Have you an opinion in relation to Gilbert & Sullivan, and what is said opinion?

Actually, I know very little about G and S, and have very little opinion. I can wax lyrical on Bizet's Carmen at the moment, though.

#4 Will you be at Borders for HP on Saturday? (Related: should I tell mab2701 to keep an eye out for you if she ends up going to Borders to pick up her copy?)

Nope. I have dancing from 8.30am, so I'll be picking my book up from Chermside after dancing, along with a bottle or two of red wine.

#5 Have you heard anything about the Queensland Synod meeting? I have, and I'm furious. What a state you live in!

No :( I don't know if I want to know. If only we could get rid of those people and Bob Katter. We'd have a perfect state.

You're right, you *don't* want to know. Oh, and feel free to wax lyrical on Bizet's Carmen! I can do that, too.

(And... ask me questions, please? *g*)

One of the things I like best about Carmen is that it lasts the wholetrip from my place to my parents. And the fact I'm using the music for my ballet solo this year.

1. Best part about being a mum is the instant mega-intense love you feel for someone so wee that you've only known .00001 minutes. Worst thing. The instant mega-intense love and the fear that some idiot in a car or some idiot with a jones for little boys might come and shatter my whole entire world (can you tell I watch too much Law and Order: Special Victims Unit?)

2. Until today I would have said Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Today I would say Beach Music by Pat Conroy.

3. A needle held over a flame for a few seconds and then slice, slice, slice!

4. Horrid, Hideous, Horrendous, Horrific, Haunting

5. I started because it was the "cool" thing to do and I was trying to hook up with a guy who I got my invite code from. Now I do it because I've got friends and a group of authors that I follow. I hope one day to be famous enough to have people search out my LJ.
