-So I sent off parcels to relatives in Mount Isa and Townsville today. I fail to understand how the Australia Post charges work . . .

-I'm almost finished making CHristmas presents, and - as always - I'm having a little trouble parting with them. Some of the things I'm making are really growing on me *g*

-We won the Ashes back. I don't know if any of the Poms on my friends list follow the cricket, but if the do . . . hee!

-I was watching Save the Last Dance yesterday/today. I like Julia Stiles, but she is in no way a classical dancer. She has the most awkward ballet arms I've ever seen in someone who isn't 7.

-There are dancing wombats on my television. There are simply not enough dancing wombats in the world

Aw, my poor flatmate was basically staying up all night to listen (not even to see) the cricket on the radio. My uncle is pretty gutted, too. I found it fairly funny, actually. Congrats!

(It amuses me that you call us poms. I have never heard that term before!)

It's from what convicts had on the back of their shirts - Prinoner Of Mother England. POME.

Did I mention I'm drunk? Hi. :)

Why are you drunk on a Monday night? Or... Civic Christmas Party?

Shire boss is a bastard. And I did end up at the pub with the civic crew. . . . Took me a while to figure out why I had a headache this morning. . .

I can't remember a time when I wasn't calling the English 'poms' *g*

But I love you guys for your television shows . . .

Hee :) I was thinking it was probably not that easy to say, but then I imagined my Autralian cousin saying it and the word made more sense.

Well, it's good to be loved...*g*
