Another day . . .

Matt and I went and saw Talledega (sp?) Nights: The legend of Ricky Bobby yesterday. It was silly, but in a lovely, good-natured way, and we really enjoyed it.

I also bought two gorgeous 'teaching' skirts, so I'm ready for jobs up to the end of the year. I spent the money and bought them from Colorado - and it's so lovely to have good quality clothes - I'm going to spend some of my money each fortnight to buy little bits and pieces.

Today I'm getting dancing things together - the concert's approaching rapidly and I've got costumes on the go. Also music stuff etc.

I don't know about you, but for me, one of the best things about this whole "job" business is having enough money for little things like nice skirts. And sunglasses that don't come from a discount stand and vintage purple paisley ties from Funkidori and equipment for making sushi and pina coladas on a hot day.

So this is adulthood, eh? I'm liking it so far.
