This is ridiculous.

I updated using rich text editor yesterday - now every time I want to update it goes immediately to rich text editor - which I DON"T WANT TO USE!!!!!

According to LJ FAQs I will go back to the original update page if I just press 'update' again

IT DOESN"T WORK!!!!!

I've even tried deleting all the cookies.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried changing it back to normal text mode, updating and then going back to the update page? That usually works for me.

I don't know how to fix it, but you are like the third LJ friend that this has happened to in the past few days, and the other people did get it changed back - so there is a solution!

I fixed this for myself just yesterday - and I can't bloody remember how.

It does suck, happened to me the other week. And so stupid how they've got the link to go from plain to rich text, but not the other way round.
