I'm looking for a short poem/longer quotation about love/marriage for the wedding card I'm making.

I'm looking for something sweet/nice but not too sachrine. (Personally I'd love a pop culture quote, but these are 'regular' people) I'm going to search myself, but if you know of something good, please share!!!

This may be all a little too common, but the old irish one of "May the road rise up to you", Its nice (and thats the real nice, not the nice nice).

This might be a bit much for a card, but I like it (and I had it read at my wedding :D ). It's an Indian wedding poem.

Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no more loneliness.
Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place, to enter into the days of your life together.
And may your days be good, and long upon the earth.

That's lovely - I'll run it past the boyfriend when he gets home (it's his friend getting married, so it's more from him than me)

I was going to post this. I used it at my wedding! Everyone LOVED it and it's not the traditional stuff!

I wanted "I might be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it"

I think that's out too . . .
