I should never have doubted that Joss Whedon would leave me curled up behind a chair, bawling. A lot.

Loved the movie, despite the painfullness. Wish there had been more Kaylee and just a little more Jayne, though I love Zoe more than ever before. Mal was a pratt for a lot, but it seemed to make sense to me, seeing that Inara was gone.

I have so much to say about it, but I'm watching extras now. *g*

I also have Serenity, though I haven't taken it home and watched it yet. I am quietly gloating over it, though. But now that I'm more familiar with the characters (I came to Firefly after seeing Serenity in the cinema) I could have done with a lot less of Kaylee, and considerably more of Jayne.

Zoe = too wonderful for words, though. Which I was extremely relieved to discover, because I thought Gina Torres was truly awful in Angel...just like Nathan Fillion was in Buffy...

Poor Wash, though. I did like Wash a lot.

I only saw the film on Sunday night but so mcuh love. I really liked how it was done; lots of fun was had.

Well, I just did an interest search on the words "Uniting Church" and turn up a Firefly fan out of the five people listed. I just felt that this deserved comment.

My favorite post-Serenity fic is A Hundred Shades of Blue by inlovewithnight. She also has a lot of good series fic on her website, a lot of which is Jayne/Kaylee (though the post-Serenity one isn't).

Mal was a pratt for a lot, but it seemed to make sense to me, seeing that Inara was gone.

This makes me giggle a lot.
