1. It's the first day of school. I should be teaching. Or getting ready to teach. Instead I get to spend 8 hours serving stupid people and cleaning.

2. I never got my female gen ficathon fic. I forgot about it for a while - what with the disappointment of not getting it when everyone else did, and the excitement of real life. But I just checked then, and there's no sight of it. I hate ficathons - this is the fourth or fifth one where I busted my gut and got nothing. I never got a postcard for the HP Postcardathon either.

3. I'm tired, pounty, cranky and whingy.

I hate when that happens - the ficathon fiasco, I mean. I'm still waiting (well actually I've given up waiting) for mine from an Alias ficathon due in March 2005. That's why I'm determined to deliver my assignment for the new Spooks ficathon, even though the muse has yet to alight. Because I know what a disappointment it is, when you don't get any return for your hard work.
