West Wing fragment
He was shot.
You've got to understand this. It's a every important part of the story. He was shot.
And she left.
She'd never said she loved him, well not to me anyway. But she did say she cared. And there was a time when they slept together and he would have told her all his amazing dreams and plans.
But he was shot. And she left.
And now she's standing in front of me.
She hasn't changed much. Her hair is a bit shorter, cut a bit closer to her head, and her eyes are a bit harder, if that is even possible. But essentially, she still looks the same.
She looks the same as the day she left.
She was packing that night.
While I sat in an over sanitized waiting room hearing updates that I couldn't comprehend, she was packing.
I wonder if she was listening to music?
She only ever listened to classical music and angry girl singers.
Was she listening to Wagner while Josh was trying not to die?
And why is she standing in front of me now?
"Donnatella Moss."
Her voice is light and mocking. She's probably been sitting on a beach somewhere while we've been trying to run the country.
While we've been trying not to die.
You know, it didn't take us long to realise that we could both run the country and make an attempt at dying without Mandy Hampton.
Well I've cleaned some of my room and done some long overdue washing. Now for that whole 'run dance classes and find some food to eat' RL Melina.
