Uni - Week One - Part One
Mar. 2nd, 2005 05:35 amWell the university year has begun. Our semester is collapsed into 8 weeks before he head out on prac, which means there's no such thing as an introductionary lectures. The homework and assignments are rapidly piling up.
Monday - Class One, Primary Professional Practice
There's a lot of emphasis on inclusion during this subject, which is interesting. Two possible assignments - one which is almost entirely done on line, the other which we can use for job interviews etc.
Tuesday - Tutorial One, Programming and Assessment in Language and Mathematics
Lots of talk about the Four Resources model, Productive Pedagogies and Multiliteracies. Strangely, I actually understand these theories and I can use them. Weird.
Today - 12 hour day with 8 hours of break. At different times. Great
