Channel Nine can bite me

So Channel nine has moved West Wing to two nights a week. And I missed last night. So now it's an episode later, and Josh did something, and I'm confused. Between Channel nine and the suckiness of this season, and the asshole-ness of Leo, I'm having trouble trying to care.

So, before I switch off and declare this a dead fandom, can someone tell me what happened during constituency of one, and should I care, and does anyone have a tape of it in Australia that i can see?

I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention to last night's ep, but due to some reason that I'm not entirely clear about, Tom Skerritt's Senator character switched from the Democrats to the Republicans. Josh is being blamed for it.
Overall it was an okay episode, better than Disaster Relief.

What?

That means I missed Monday's! (Not that I saw last night's, but Dad was supposed to tape it.) Damn, I hate, hate, hate Channel Nine. Now that I no longer have Clive Robertson to hate with the fury of... I don't know, a lot... Channel Nine is top of my list.

I don't have an icon annoyed enough to go with this post.

I know. I think someone at channel nine decided they'd never get through West Wing if they only showed it once a week, and who know what would happen if they showed it during ratings season.

Constituency of One: Josh goes haywire and Senator Carrick, barely a Dem, gets pissed off and switches from Democrat to Republican, putting the control of the Senate in the hands of the other party. This is a major fuckup. It's also his birthday, and Amy decides to have a newspaper article written called the 101st Senator, and they flirt a lot, until Amy starts using the First Lady's name to get some stuff done, and the President finds out and fires her. He later unfires her, but Amy decides to leave anyway because Josh doesn't really care and Josh lets her walk out.
