Big Scary Interview
Aug. 29th, 2005 07:58 amSo it's not 8am yet, and I'm at uni finishing up my portfolio.
I'm not sure if I've explained this. See, on Wednesday I have my big, scary, interview. This is the interview that determines my 'rating'. The 'rating' then decides whether any one would want to hire me for a teaching job next year.
So basically, my chance of getting a teaching job rests on about 45 minutes to an hour of interview.
The interview is with my (fantastic) supervising teacher and the deputy principal of the school where I did my last prac. I know that they'll both be fair on me, and I know that - worst comes to worst - I do a heap of supply work next year and earn some money that way. I know that I'm prepared, and that I've got nothing to be scared about.
But, honestly, this is the scariest thing I've ever done in my life.
Bring on Thursday already!
