Had my last exam yesterday - the essay one with 20 multiple choice questions. The MC questions were both well written, and possible to answer, and shiny examples of how MC questions shoould be written. The essays were okay - one I wanted, one I dodn't, but the writing went well. I was out 40 minutes early.

The fact I got out early astounded some people. But really, I used to write three essays of the same length in exams of that length, and finish early. This was a walk in the park. Apparently, some people were still on their first essay though, when I walked out.

[livejournal.com profile] sangerin has sent back my beta and it's shiny. I have to write the other wing swing story. I was thinking about going to see PoA again, but I'd rather like to stay at home where I'm warm. I can write and watch Buffy DVDs and eat junk food. After I clean the kitchen.

See, I celebrated last night by cooking a nice meal and polishing off half a bottle of red wine. Matt finished the other half. By the time we were through desert, neither of us wanted to wash up. And Matt left this morning, leaving me with the dishes. *pout*

So warm water, washing and lazing around doing nothing. Pretty much for four weeks.

BTW. Amanda and Liz. I intend to come over during my holidays. Hide your valuables *g*

It's the best me I could come up with.

I'm 200 words short on my second Wing Swing with no where to take the story. Have a feeling I might have to deconstruct and reconstruct. Or hope that people just read the other, better, one.

Essays about Harry Potter. My question: is it possible to write these without being flames. Because the wank, you know.

I want to write a couple of essays based on some of the things I've learnt this semester. So about the school mostly. And the constructed identities within the HP world. How class is so important, or wealth at least. How Hogwarts hasn't quite discovered post-modernist ideas about teaching yet (I wouldn't mention the phrase post-modern in Snape's classroom, or McGonagall's either.) The total lack of support and extra help given to 'gifted' children at Hogwarts (I'm thinking Hermione and Percy, mostly)

So there's all these ideas. Would anyone be interested in reading?

Ok, so I began to write those essays. Then I realised I needed to finish and post this story, finally. So here it is.

Follow Her Nightmares: Harry Potter: PG13. Epilogue: Mutual Understandings. (1/6) )
