The Ekka Holiday
Aug. 10th, 2004 02:26 pmSo tomorrow is People's Day at the Ekka. The Ekka is our Agricultural show (or State Fair, I suppose) and everyone gets a public holiday tomorrow to go visit. So Matt and I are going.
We actually had our first date at the Ekka three years ago. I invited a whole bunch of people to come and he was the only one who said yes. (After a month or so of flirting at work) Somehow he convinced me to go on the gravatron . . .
One thing we do every year is the Ferris Wheel. There's always a Westerly wind though, and those little containers shake like crazy up the top. It's really gorgeous though.
(There's also strawberry icecreams at the Ekka. That's the real reason I go *g*)
