I look at the HP fandom sometimes and understand why I don't talk seriously about Harry Potter. It's better to put my theories into fics that no one's going to read.

You just have to find the right audience. Heck, start a closed community that requires an invite/authorisation to join. Weed out the not-so-tolerant (although you have to be pretty diplomatic to be able to do this and not end up weeding out people you know disagree).

Yeah, this is what I thought too. Great in theory; woe for you if you write a fic that, for whatever reason, attracts some interest. The controversy, eet shall find and attempt to keeeeel you.

I'm thinking a second viewing would be nice, too, just because Cuaron's take on everything is so darned fun. And I'm usually so blase about movies.
