A Writing Exercise Challenge

melwilI was thinking about this on my walk home today. It would be interesting to write a description of someone really close to you - a parent, or a sister (or brother), a friend, a boyfriends (or girlfriend). Sometimes, with the people you're closest to, it's difficult to see them to be able to write about them.
So a challenge that I expect everyone on my friends list to take up *g*. Write a description of someone close to you. Write it straight into your LJ, without editing. Include a name if you want. Alternately, write a description of a character that you write about all the time . . .

And here's my contribution

He's exactly twenty centimetres taller than me, which means his legs are much longer, and I always have to do a little skip and a hop to keep up with him when we're walking. His hair is dark brown and short and stands up a little, but it would probably be curly if he let it grow longer - like his brothers. He has a beard and mo, which he's growing differently because he was worried that it was beginning to look like Hitler's.
His eyes are green - really green - and he thinks that they're normal and my eyes are the unusual ones. He wears glasses, but they're new and he's not really quite comfortable with them yet. They make him look older, and snarky. He has two holes in his ear, but he keeps forgetting to put his earrings in, and he worries that they'll close over. He has a pair of spider earring, but he usually wears sleepers.
He's not thin, but he's not overweight (although a month living with two guys resulted in a little beer belly), just medium size. He likes to wear shorts, or long pants, or jeans with t-shirts with music groups, or the simpsons or beer on them. When he rides his bike he wears a black jacket, which matches his helmet.
My favourite thing about him is his hugs. :)
