So ladydewinter is setting up a Poesiealbum to send around the world. She describes it like this:

It was a book which you gave to your friends and teachers and everybody would have two pages she or he could decorate. Mostly that meant that on one page you wrote a poem, a quote, anything and a personal note, and on the other page you put a picture. The purpose - as I see it - is that you have something to remember people by, and they have a chance to impart their wisdom on you :)

I'd love to do this with people from my friends list from across Australia and the rest of the world. I'm going to change it a little though, so on one page you can write what ever you like (so people don't have to write poetry, though if Liz gets involved she has to write me a limerick . . . *g*) and the other page holds a photo or a drawing.

If you want to be involved, can you leave me a comment below? Even if you don't know me too well, because it would be fun to get to know people better. And if you don't have a live journal, but want to be involved, that's fine too.

*g* I'd make you fill in four pages if you did that. Have a think about it though. If someone gets involved who lives near you, we could get them to gently prod you for it.
