Well that was fun

So, today, quite unexpectedly, I formally quit my job. No working on holidays, no emergency work. No having to walk half an hour just to get to work. No phone calls at 5.30am on the days I'd decided to sleep in. No more Gropey McGrope. No more buddhist bitch.

I am so happy.

It was the Bitch who sent me over the top. She came in and abused work I had done in front of customers. (Actually it was work I and the boss had done.) I decided I'd had it, I was no longer happy in the job, I hadn't been happy there since Liz left and the Bitch replaced her, and the new girl who started yesterday is one of those sneaky types who'll lie and talk about you behind your back and fawn about you in front of your face. I was better off without it all.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I celebrated by buying two pairs of $2 pants from Kmart. I tried on one, and told the assistant at the fitting rooms that I was buying them to celebrate quitting. She pointed out the most perfect pair of pants that were also $2 and fitted perfectly. She thought I might like them. *Hugs the world*

I will look for a new job when I'm settled into university, but this has been the best day I have had in a while.

Hey great, thanks! I don't know if I'll be able to do their hours because uni's a five day a week thing (after the arts degree, that's going to hurt *g*), but I might contact them and see if they have some volunteer work to get some experience.
