Australia faltered on beam and floor, dropping to third. Romania, winners of the last five world titles, settled for silver because of problems on the uneven bars.

So very true. I mean, we went ballistic over winning (?) the Commonwealth Games, but that's with three quarters of the world missing.

Yay for the gymnasts - I love the way they some up the American team as the five left standing. And I still can't get over the fact we beat China... and Russia.
