On the way to the Gabba, I realised something. That I'd attended a grand total of two different professional sporting events. Ice Skating and Gymnastic.
AFL is a little different to that.
We were in restricted view seats, which meant that we missed one goal and one behind - but the rest of the game was magnificent. We managed to convert a Magpies supporter and gain noteriety as very loud cheerers.
I loved the guy sitting behind us though, who was wearing a Carlton scarf. His excuse was - "well, they can't lose."
I need to make Lions icons now. Especially one for Kate, reading: "I'm a wibbly Brad Scott fan girl"
