melwilJust a quick note to let everyone know that, at Matt's advice, I've banned anonymous commenting. If you want to get through to me, pay your money to get an LJ or email me.
Emotional abuse is just as bad as physical abuse and we don't have to take it from him. We don't have to take being called whores or bitches or sluts - words that men traditionally use to put women down. We should never find that kind of behaviour acceptable.
I recommend that everyone who has had to endure this situation, merely ignores him. If he continues the abuse or the random commenting - we would have legal grounds to challenge him. Otherwise, we've just removed a very painful thorn from our sides and proved that, as the people able to cease the attacks, we are stronger and better than him. (We know it, of course, it's just nice to have proof)
Don't give him legitimacy by responding to him.
