Work is crap. Very crap.

In the last two days - five people (that we know of) have quit my work. Two managers, two shift leaders and someone from head office.

Three of those people worked in my shop.

Tomorrow, we have a shift leader working between our store and another store. Which basically means that I have to operate as shift leader.

BUT I DON'T WANT TO!!

a) I don't get shift leader's pay, b) I don't really know what I'm doing, c)The place is falling apart and I don't care anymore, d)The job is beginning to give me serious anxiety. I found myself at the end of today clenching my fists a lot and scratching the back of my neck (sure sign of anxiety and worry for me). Also, I was wondering how much trouble I would be in if I just jumped the counter of the shop and ran (preferably with a lot of customers standing out front)

I hate my job. I will be leaving the minute I can find a new one.

And I feel better for this little rant.

I know the feeling and I'm doing the exact same. I've also wondered wat would happen to me if I told a jerk customer to "Fuck off". I'd probably be fired, but then again I don't care!

Telling rude customers to fuck off may get you fired, but some customers (in particular Nico) would feel happy and strangely connected to you...

If it's any consolation: I shake my fist at the work you want to work at (the optometrist) to make them hire you and then shake my fist at the work you now work at and demand they fire you.

Why? Because you deserve better than shitty food service and retail, much like Cara and I.
