The comment last night about if there wasn't public voting... and then Darryl trailed off? That would be because the end of the sentence was "then the people who actually deserved to win would win." That said, Grant is getting better and Toby has plateau'd.
Grant has good connection with the judges and audience too - the X Factor as they said on Strictly Dancing - which neither Kostya or Toby seem to have. And Grant's technical work is getting much better
