1. I have been fannish since I was five and plagerising the Famous Five.
2. The first fan fiction I ever read was Blue Heelers. I prefered the Dash/Adam stories to Maggie/PJ
3. I also dabbled in reading Friends fanfiction
4. I never thought I would write fan fiction at that time. I was too obsessed with my angsty poetry.
5. I read Buffy/Angel fanfiction after being obsessed with the show. There was a lot of internet content for BtVS and Angel, so I never really got into the fanfic.
6. I began writing fanfiction after being enthralled with West Wing.
7. There wasn't enough WW content on the internet, so I spent ages reading as many stories as I could. I thought I could do better, so I began wriitng.
8. I wrote in a notebook with a black cover, usually on the way to Brisbane on the train and in the empty Eatery at 8.00am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
9. My first story that I ever put online was an evil Sam story. I gave him pneumonia. It is a very bad story.
10. I didn't know about mailing lists so I posted it to a big archive.
11. I quickly fell in love with Ainsley and CJ - as well as Sam, Josh and Toby. I've never been real good at writing the President, Abbey, Leo or Charlie. I do like writing Donna on occasions.
12. My stories have never won awards, but Coffee and Coversation and Thin Whine through Sober eyes got some nice reviews.
13. I had a couple of betas, but it was Christine who kicked my butt in the right direction. One day I'll either finish that story for her, or take the good bits and write lots of other Toby/CJ stories.
14. I have a tendency to write as many different pairings as I can - hoping to get a reaction. I never have.
15. I love Toby/CJ. He's tired and she's broken and it's all beautiful to write.
16. I used to love Ainsley/Sam, but Ainsley/fem character was more fun.
17. I wrote my first slash (f/f) in West Wing.
18. I have contemplated, but never finished a m/m story.
19. I write in long hand and I'll willingly turn my writing notebooks over to any friends.
20. I was made multi fandom by Liz. I liked her West Wing stories, so I read her Harry Potter. Liz is a corrupting influence.
21. The first stories I wrote in HP will never be seen by anyone but Liz.
22. I wrote 60 A5 pages of HP before I posted anything.
23. I try to write Snape as much as I can. Again - Liz's fault.
24. I did my first proper beta-ing in HP - Liz's NSP. I love beta-ing much more than I thought I would. I love using pretty pens.
25. I've written Lily/Snape, Lily/Lucius, Lily/James, Hermione/Ron, Hermione/Snape, Harry/Ginny and Lily/Sirius as a present for Liz.
26. I feel that I'm beginning to become a good writer.
27. I writing a huge universe in Harry Potter and I'm surprised by how much I know about it.
28. I would like to be noticed more in the HP fandom, but I think it's too big and I'm not willing to push myself enough.
29. I've also written M*A*S*H, Buffy and Angel. I want to write more though.
30. I want to write Josh/Wesley slash as my first m/m pairing.
31. I love writing Snape/Hermione.
32. I haven't written as many song fics as I think I have.
33. I had fun doing the Wing Swing challenge
34. I always forget to vote for fic awards.
35. I enjoy the online and real company of the people i have befriended on the web. I think they all rock in their own personal ways.
36. Some of my favourite writers include: Liz, Christine, Teanna, Twinkledru, Laura Ellen, Luna and RJ Anderson.
37. I try to match my music to my writing.
38. Some of my best writing is done on public transport.
39. One day I will fulfill the threats and write Baby-Sitters Club, Sweet Valley, Famous Five and Sound of Music fic - maybe all together.
