10 years ago: 13 years old, right in the middle of grade nine. About to fail my first ballet exam after breaking my toe three days earlier. Loving drama, history and science at school. Doing really well in everything else. That was the semester I scored straight A's (including in phys ed!) And of course suffering the usual grade nine angst . . .

5 years ago: 18 years old. Second year of uni. *shudder* Possibly the worst time of my life. Just off a long term boyfriend who was cheating on me and a bad rebound. Not doing well in my subjects. A lot of stuff going on that I still don't want to talk about.

1 year ago: At uni annoying everyone with the fabulous Canberra trip that was coming up in less than two weeks. Happily with Matt, pretty happy with life, although anxiety was rearing its ugly head

Yesterday: School. A cold. The deputy and principal came in to watch my classes (*eek*) Went shopping. Cooked dinner. Slept

Tomorrow: School. 1 and 1/2 hours of non contact time (*hooray!*) Lunch duty on the oval. Hopefully another good maths rotation.


5 snacks I enjoy: Homemade guacamole and doritos, cheese, Elimbah school strawberries, chocolate . . . chocolate cheese and strawberries all on one plate

5 bands/artists that I know the lyrics to most of their songs: Ben Folds, Ben Folds Five . . . um . . .

5 things I would do with $100,000,000: Car. House. Books. (Maybe not in that order) HECS debt (gigantic lumbering thing) Travel

5 locations I would like to run away to: San Fransisco, Ontario, Taos, Sydney, Peachester

5 bad habits I have: procrastination, laziness, messiness, chocolate-addiction, not getting in contact with friends as much as I should

5 things I like doing: Reading, dancing, sitting on the floor in bookstores and libraries and looking at all those books, teaching, walking for pleasure not to get places

5 things I will never wear: skirts or shorts that show off my thighs, cfm boots, shoulder pads, boob tubes, leather pants

5 TV shows I like(d): Buffy, West Wing, Spooks, House, Little Britain

5 movies I like: Dead Poets Society, Strictly Ballroom, Bend It Like Beckham, Billy Elliot (damn, I do like the inspirational movies, don't I)Save the Last Dance

5 people I'd like to meet: people who are interesting (too tired to list five)

5 biggest joys at the moment: good teaching days, chocolate after bad teaching days, Spooks being back on, new fanfic ideas, sleeping in on Sunday (oh, 7am, how nice you are)



In other news, my parents have returned with Locked Rooms which I have read and loved. . .

Yesterday: work. Avoiding making certain phonecalls that I have already been avoiding for a week.

Tomorrow: work. Hopefully making said phonecalls but more likely continuing to procrastinate. Also reviewing all our un-exchanged contracts to see whether they need amendment to take Vendor duty back out of them. (Don't think I'm not glad the Vendor Duty is gone. I'm thrilled. It just means that every single property lawyer in the state is simultaneously celebrating and amending their contracts.)
