A lecturer for next semester just emailed us to tell us we must attend two of her lectures a week. Which would be fine except for the fact that one of them is at 12-1pm, and the other is on the same day at 7-8 at night.

Which, when you add the other lectures and tutorials I have to go to, leaves me with a time table that looks like this . . .

8-9am: Psychology lecture

three hour break

12-1pm lecture for stupid class
1-3pm Psychology tutorial
3-4 pm Phys ed lecture

three hour break

7-8pm lecture for stupid class

That will mean more than 12 hours at the uni if I turn up early for the first class. Which, if it was UQ with the movies, or Gardens Point with its close proximity to the city would be fine. But there's nothing to do at Kelvin Grove!

Someone shoot me before next semester begins.

Grrrr, it's like they do that on purpose! "I'm going to have two lectures at inconvenient times and make them all attend, just to be one of those nasty lecturers like you see in the movies". Maybe you'll discover the evening class isn't necessary. I hope so, anyway.

I've had stuff like that heaps at QUT. One day I had to go from 8am til 9pm with heaps and heaps of breaks. I used to have a 6 hour break which was good cos I got to go home for a bit. Uni was a 4 hour round trip waste of time.

Yet it's kinda better than here.
