Ah, Wednesdays . . .
Mar. 17th, 2005 04:05 pmThe Amazing Phys Ed Video
I cannot describe in writing just how bad the video we watched in Phys Ed yesterday was. Just think - over enthusiastic phys ed teacher, coached children who know they're working for a video, a 'hurry-hurry' approach teamed with endless, vapid affirmation (Yay! Grade Four! That's brilliant grade four! You rock grade four!) And the coaching of students to yell a reply of 'P!E!' to the teacher's call of 'I love!'
Oh, and the teacher's name was Miss Humlicker.
We buried our heads in our giant bag of Malteasers and prayed that we would never ever teach like that.
*
In other news, myself and three 40+ fellow education students were thrown out of the university pub last night. They turned the lights out over our head at 6.45pm and glared at us until he finished our drinks and left.
You'd think we were being rowdy . . . *g*
