First Junk Mail in my letter box: One for the Democrats! Of course, it may go down as the only thing they win in Queensland. They offer themselves as "third party insurance" in the senate. I think it's time I wrote to them and ask why they allowed the 10% subsidy on text books (to counter the effects of the GST on students) to be removed.

First politician to appear with his children in The Australian: Tony Abbott. He looks sleazy

First sign that The Australian is going to have a Howard bias: of the three columnists, two are on the right. (The other one used to work for Beazley)

First weird news story: Terrorists may target election: Clarke The problem with this is the high probability that a terror attack on Australia would work in Howard's favour, the way September the 11th and Bali did. Also, no one in the right mind would attack an election in Australia while there's big sporting events on.

Random Alexander Downer story: Downer sending the wrong signals

I haven't found any funny hats yet :(

BTW. I'm screening non-friends comments on my election posts for a few reasons. If I get any, I'll unscreen most of them, though. Just playing things safe.

In future, I'll try and get this all together in one post.

The Australian website. As my sister has said, they're not the best website, but they have some good cartoon galleries.

To do:
-Finish the bibliography for the workshop tomorrow
-Finish typing and print out workshop stuff
-Type up workshop lesson plan
-Keep working on webpage
-Try and read unreadable articles on child development
-Begin the outline for Curriculum
-Look at information for prac unit

~*~

Oh, my prac unit - looks like it might be on TOYS! Which is brilliant, seeing my grandmother is a leading toy historian, and my mother makes teddy-bears
