I had a strange dream last night. Matt was there. So was Alan Rickman, in a mixture of costume from Snape and Love Actually. And lots and lots of insects and spiders which I was killing. Strange.

Matt and I just got back from the dawn service. On the way to the train home I stopped to buy a newspaper and this poor soldier was trying to explain ANZAC day to the confused, and obviously new to Australia, shop assistant. I'm not sure it was getting through.

My little sister has hit the nail on the head over why I was uncomfortable about Howard's visit to Iraq on ANZAC day. Go over and marvel at how smart she is *g*

Except, she forgot about the fact that Howard politicised a day that shouldn't have been. I would have been slightly impressed if we hadn't found out until tomorrow. Or next week some time. Or after the election . . .

I forgot to tell you that my reading is up at my church's website. Today I read from Acts (chapter nine) and John (chapter 21). Just go to the site, scroll down and click on the church broadcast link - I'm there under bible reading.
