I have an Easter wrap up, and some stories and my thoughts about Hermione to write. Oh, and Jones and Jones to read. Don't think I'm going to let my friends list get away without suffering the pain of that particular text book . . .

Easter Wrap Up

As promised,

On Good Friday I was up early for the 7am Good Friday service at my church, thankful that the buses were running early. I was asked to take part in the Easter Drama we read during the service, playing Mary Magdalene. It was a fairly simple, but very moving drama - especially as I was reading my part which declared that Jesus was dead. You can listen the the service here, especially the poem, which is just lovely. You can also hear the Ecumenical Stations of the Cross, which I participated in later in the day. After which, I came home, read some and slept some.

Yesterday, Matt and I went for a walk along the brook, to Toombul shopping centres. While I was waiting for Matt to put a film in to develop, one of my students from school came up to me, said 'Hello Melina!' and then scurried off *g*

This morning was simply glorious. I made myself boiled eggs with faces drawn on them (old family tradition) and then went off to church. I was, quite simply, a wonderful morning. The church was almost full and the sermon was simple and joyful. It was very uplifting.

Matt and I are going out for another walk later, then it's into the study for me . . . yick.
