The quiet of being home from work

I'm watching Sense and Sensibility at the moment. Hugh Grant is looking suitibly foppish and Alan Rickman's pacing . . .

I love this movie.

I was rudely awoken at 4am this morning by my alarm. It was worse than usual, because I'd dreamt that I'd already woken up at four and had been to work.

We did well in a little inspection today, though. Head office seems pleased with us.

Bread

There's a lot of things that suck about my job, but some things I quite like. One of those things are bread.

We've got a really good baker at the moment and he likes to try new things every now and then. Today he decided to form Pana de Casa dough into vienna and cobb shapes. Unfortunately for him, they didn't come out how he wanted them, so he put them aside for us to take home.

I've also got really nice bread rolls and a loaf of really soft bread at home.
