Oh, I feel just fine . . .
Apr. 30th, 2003 04:55 pmAfter a day of feeling off and stressing about medicines (The TGA is now publishing batch numbers as far as I can tell - I think all my drugs are safe.) I managed to finish off my day with a major bout of reflux. It's not the first time, of course but I always forget how bad a big bout of reflux makes me feel.
So I wake up this morning, still feeling queasy and a little ill, and get ready for some job hunting. I'm putting on my moisturiser when I realise something is amiss. I have a huge red dot on my eye.
I go over to the convention centre where mum is working, and she works with a St. Johns Ambulance person to guilt me into going and seeing my optometrist. So I do, and the optometrist says it's just a raptured blood vessal - just like a bruise in the eye. Yay.
But I'm eating food again - so things are looking up.
PS - the answer for the heel of Fortune puzzle is Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.
