Walking, cleaning and a minor grumble

Went for an hour long, four kilometre walk this morning. It was lovely, with the first part going past a nice brook and the second part along a road (harder to get lost). Very enjoyable and repeatable.

Also applied for two jobs this morning. I was going for three, but the thrid one required flash, which my computer won't support, so I decided I didn't want to walk for them after all *g*

And, I've done some cleaning. Washed the dishes, tidied the living room, the kitchen and part of my room and put a load of washing on. Very domesticated today.

Also, loving the silverlake lurkers challenge at the moment. There's lots of good fiction out there at the moment, and I'm keeping a record for feedback purposes.

A minor request/grumble:
I've noticed a bit of university bitching. Is this at all avoidable? Or can you put it behind a filter that excludes me? It makes me grumpy and I don't like that.

I admit that I've made jokes about other universities - and my old university as well (How many UQ students does it take to change a light bulb? One. The world revolves around them.) But the reality is, in this day and age, with the changes that we face in education - most people will have to attend more than one university. The government is trying to cut down on institutions having the same courses - and with the need for post graduate studies to achieve anything, you may find yourself in a place you have bitched about.

So can it, please. Or hide it, so I don't have to see it. I'm not up to having to defend my old university at the moment.
