Job hunting, shopping and other things
Mar. 10th, 2003 05:50 pmWell the job hunt began in earnest today . . .
I printed up resumes and cover letters and things this morning, bought a new top (dusty pink, sleeveless - very nice) and rang about one job (description being sent to me now)
Got into the city and walked into the first shop - I thought I was just going to hand over resume, but the lady began an impromtu interview. Gyah! All that improvisation for Lions Youth of the Year finally paid off! I think I answered the questions well - now I'm just waiting to hear back.
Also handed resumes over at Mr Toys, ABC shop and the cinemas and sent another one off. And I got home to find an email from Coles Myer about an interview!! (Yay! Yay!)
In other news, I also bought another pink shirt for interviews, two T-Shirts for me and a very nice set of underwear. Then Matt and I went to see Chicago. (Must go to see the hours on Wednesday!)
So the job hunt seems to be going well - now I'm off to look for new online jobs!
