Rain and Other Insignificant Things
Nov. 10th, 2004 05:58 amSo, you know the really big storm in Brisbane last night? I walked home from the shops (about 15 minutes usually) in it. By the time I got to the pub on the way home, I decided my umbrella was useless in keeping me dry. So I'm crouched under this verandah, watching the cars zoom by, thinking about how to keep my bag and the phone, cd player and books inside it, safe.
The next fun was walking across the bridge. You can catch a breeze on that bridge on the calmest day in the world. It was not calm yesterday! My glasses were soaked, so I really couldn't see where I was going, the wind and the rain were pushing me sideways and backwards, cars going by were soaking my legs, and I was just trying to hold my umbrella over my bag.
It was fun.

My exams are over. Actually, my uni year is over. My degreee is half over. Which is kind of weird.
The two exams went well. I got the topics I wanted for Psychology (phew) and finished the two hour multiple choice ICT exam in 30 minutes.
Now to sleep
