Teachers told to go moonlighting
TEACHERS are being urged to register as private tutors to earn extra cash after hours under the Howard Government's plan to offer parents a $700 tutorial grant for struggling children.
I have no words. Honestly. I have a bump on my head from hitting it against the desk though.

The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald have done a whole bunch of articles lately on the Private vs. Public debate. There's been some really interesting findings and articles and opinions.
When school is a parent substitute
Perhaps "discipline" and "traditional values" are code words for, "We're better than the rest of you, because we can afford what you can't."
An interesting opinion piece on why parents might choose Private schools. Very interesting from a social or class perspective.
Go private? Not even if it were free, say loyal parents

Christians cry foul over inequities of federal funding
A complaint from the lower money end Christian schools. If only they would band together with state schools to complain about the big private schools getting huge amounts of funding.
