How stupid can you get?

melwilSo, it's three days until I have two quite major exams. So it's just the right time to get sick, isn't it? I have a cold. Just the average annoying cold, with a nose sniffle, a clogged head, cough, sneeze, sore throat. Just enough to make study really, really hard.
That was bad enough. Then I was slicing cheese, and I forgot to lay it down on the cutting board, and stood it on its end. Then I cut towards myself. And the knife slipped . . .
Yeah. I cut myself. On the wrist. Really quite deep. Very painful. My left wrist incidently, just to make study easier.
Sometimes I am the biggest clutz in the world. Just don't let me near sharp or hot things. Ask Liz about the nutella jar.

Matt dragged me off to see PoA again last night. Upon a third viewing, I am of the opinion that I still like it. And that I adore most of the actors and actresses in that movie. I will post my review later.
Back to try to study.

incident 1: she was sharpening a knife in home economics at school. she looks at the knife "that couldn't have made it sharp, it doesn't look sharp" and runs her finger along the blade to check..
incident 2: she doesn't smoke. so she was playing around with the cigarette lighter in her car to see how it works. pulled it out, and looked at it thinking "that's not hot" and promptly stuck her finger to the end of it..

on 2004-06-13 02:43 am (UTC)Sorry to hear you're walking wounded, though. Next time, give someone else the spoon and make them scoop the nutella out of the jar for you - or better yet, invest in a block of chocolate. ;)
Sigh. Having said that, I would settle for either chocolate or nutella right now. Stupid exams.
